Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in the English language, verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills as required for documentation and data entry
• Current Louisiana State RN license; BLS; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic manner
• Perform psychosocial/physiologic assessments and plan care
• Develop and implement plans of care based on trends and patient needs
• Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning
• Coordinate care with healthcare team and delegate tasks as appropriate
• Mentor colleagues and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely
