Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Retail Assistant Manager at Independence Mall in Wilmington, NC. The role supports the Local Manager in leading a seasonal team, driving sales and guest service, and ensuring a magical holiday photo experience for families.

You’ll assist with daily operations, training, and scheduling, while promoting a positive work environment and high guest satisfaction. Flexible hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in a cash handling/sales position.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently and make decisions.
• Availability for pre-season training and flexible schedule incl. evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment while upholding company values and policies.
• Assist with opening-day preparations including hiring, inventory, training, and scheduling.
• Capture photos and help guests select memorable souvenirs.
• Resolve guest concerns to ensure a positive experience.
• Lead by example and reinforce procedures set by senior management.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management as needed.
• Assist Local Manager with inventory, scheduling, training, recruiting, and other tasks.
