Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to work independently across retail locations, displaying and maintaining inventory for greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, plush, and more. The route-based position focuses on organization, time management, and strong store relationships during daytime hours.

The role offers a starting pay of $17.10 per hour with planned increases to $18.10 after 6 months and $19.00 after 1 year, plus flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently on assigned retail routes.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work around major holidays.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication with store management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route and display products in greeting card departments.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and assist with inventory tasks.
• Communicate questions or scheduling concerns with management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with effective time management.
• Partner with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, or product relocation as needed.
• Plan weekly service workload in your stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
