Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Support Merchandiser to independently service multiple retail locations, displaying and maintaining inventory for greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and related items.

The role offers a starting hourly rate of $17.50 with scheduled increases during the first year; additional pay raises after 6 months and after one year. Flexible scheduling and paid training are provided along with a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation to service multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet for updates.
• Ability to use company-provided tablet for training and tasks.
• Ability to meet scheduling needs, including weekends around holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders, and maintaining inventory in greeting card departments and other retail locations.
• Communicate with management any questions or scheduling concerns.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management and organization.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as needed.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in stores using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
