Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple Ohio retail locations, maintaining greeting card departments and inventory. The role requires daytime availability, weekend/holiday flexibility, and the ability to lift cartons up to 40 pounds.

You’ll use a company tablet for planning and daily tasks, with training provided and a 401(k) match offered. Starting pay is $12.60 per hour with increases to $13.30 after 6 months and $14.00 after 12 months, plus flexible

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Access to reliable transportation for multi-location routes.
• Access to reliable internet for updates and information.
• Willingness to learn and use a company tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Occasional weekends and holiday coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandise and organize product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and maintain backroom organization.
• Communicate questions or concerns to management regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixtures, product assembly, or relocations when requested.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload and use the company tablet.
