Job summary

American Girl Orlando is hiring a Merchandise Handler for a part-time holiday seasonal role. The position supports daily operations such as stocking shelves, unloading trucks, and inventory management at The Florida Mall store in Orlando.

You will help maintain stock levels on the sales floor, handle returns, and assist retail partners while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers, including children.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail or service industry, either in material handling, shipping, receiving, retail, or warehouse stock handling.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Friendly, approachable, and able to assist guests, especially children.
• Available to work open and close shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming stock shipments in a safe and orderly fashion and maintain stockroom standards.
• Pack up and load trailer with returning merchandise.
• Maintain stock on the retail sales floor and assist with special requests.
• Monitor stock levels and fill in as necessary while adhering to visual standards.
• Support in floor moves, equipment maintenance, and safety of customers and staff.
• Prioritize tasks to meet business needs.
