Job summary

American Girl Orlando is seeking a Part-Time Holiday Seasonal Party Planner. You will work one-on-one with party guests to design magical events, coordinating with the party team to greet guests, take orders, and ensure smooth service in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include executing AG standards for games, crafts, and doll services; maintaining safety and sanitation; collaborating with Retail Sales and Services; and balancing multiple tasks during busy holiday periods to

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months’ work experience in customer relations, parties or events.
One to two years’ experience in a high-volume, fine-casual dining or related restaurant, preferred.
Experience working with children, preferred.
Current ServSafe certification, preferred.
Good verbal and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Achieves and delivers timely steps of party execution, and positive indicators on Customer Comment Cards.
Meets sales goals and budgetary guidelines; coordinates with external vendors.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing an exceptional party experience and resolve issues graciously.
Executes events to AG standards, including games, crafts, hair styling and skin care of dolls.
Maintains ongoing party communications with staff and departments.
