Job summary

Mattel’s American Girl brand is seeking a Merchandise Handler at the AG Retail Orlando location. You will assist the visual merchandising manager with daily operations, including stocking merchandise on the sales floor, unloading trucks, and inventory management.

You will contribute to stock maintenance, support returns processing, and help ensure safety and cleanliness on the floor. The role requires openness to flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail or service industry, in material handling, shipping, receiving, retail, or warehouse stock handling.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be friendly, approachable, and willing to assist guests, especially children.
• Must be available to work open and close shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming stock shipments safely and maintain stockroom standards for merchandise placement, cleanliness, and safety.
• Pack up and load trailer with returning merchandise (returns, rework, and doll hospital).
• Maintain stock on the retail sales floor, including special requests from retail partners.
• Monitor stock levels on an ongoing basis and fill in as necessary adhering to visual standards.
• Assist in the general execution of the retail business, including floor moves, equipment maintenance, and collaborating with store personnel to provide a safe environment for customers and employees. Post and execute special projects as requested.
• Demonstrates flexibility in prioritizing tasks to meet business needs.
