Job summary

American Girl Orlando is seeking a Part-Time Merchandising Associate for our Back of House support, including unloading/loading trailers, maintaining stock levels on the sales floor, organizing back of house areas for peak efficiency, and ensuring adequate supplies on-hand.

What you’ll do includes processing shipments, packing returns, keeping stockrooms tidy, assisting with floor moves, and supporting the store team to provide a safe, welcoming environment for guests, including children.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail or service industry.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Friendly, approachable, and able to assist guests, especially children.
• Available to work open and close shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming stock shipments, maintain stockroom standards for merchandise placement, cleanliness and safety.
• Pack up and load trailer with returning merchandise (returns, rework and doll hospital).
• Maintain stock on the retail sales floor and monitor stock levels, filling in as needed while following visual standards.
• Assist in floor moves, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe environment for customers and employees; perform special projects as requested.
• Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing tasks to meet business needs.
