Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality represents the management team for Holiday Inn Express & Suites DFW Grapevine. The Assistant General Manager will oversee multiple hotel departments, drive profitability, and manage costs while upholding high standards of guest service.

You will lead recruitment, coaching, and ongoing training for Guest Services and other teams, report on financials, and partner with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive hotel experience with supervisory background.
• Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure.
• Certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid are required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple departments and drive hotel profitability with General Manager.
• Identify and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff and develop team members.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests to ensure satisfaction.

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• At least five years of progressive hotel experience (Rooms or Food & Beverage), or a four-year degree with 2–3 years, or a two-year degree with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Supervisory background required.
• Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure.
• Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
