Job summary

GameStop's Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team on a short-term basis by delivering outstanding guest service experiences in a sales environment that uses the Circle of Life model. The role focuses on sales, store maintenance, and customer service during peak seasonal days.

The ideal candidate is 18+, with high school diploma or equivalent preferred, retail or guest service experience a plus, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs while upholding store

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with video gaming needs, recommending add-ons and guiding purchases.
• Support selling initiatives and maintain a positive checkout experience during the holiday season.
• Keep store clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Stock and restock merchandise, ensuring neat presentation and accurate placement.
• Assist in meeting sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address questions promptly and escalate issues to a supervisor when needed.
• Support inventory control and safety practices, following policies.
