GameStop in West Columbia, SC seeks a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales days, focusing on sales, store maintenance, and customer service within our Circle of Life buy/sell/reserve framework.

You’ll greet guests, recommend products, stock shelves, keep areas clean, and assist in achieving sales goals while following store policies and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting them with their video gaming needs, recommending additional items as appropriate, applying all selling behaviors during every transaction, and expressing gratitude to every guest for choosing GameStop.
• Fully support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and actively contribute to all store sales initiatives throughout the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to ensure that all areas of the store, including restrooms, are clean, organized, and merchandised according to company guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures, as well as transferring products from the stock room to the front of the store, ensuring that all products are well-presented, organized, and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Assist the store team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, effectively, and courteously, and elevate customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner to a store keyholder.
• Support effective inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and adherence to safety best practices.
• Consistently adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
