Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our store team in Texas during peak seasonal days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service while supporting the Circle of Life buy/sell/trade/reservation model.

The role emphasizes delivering outstanding guest experiences, stocking and merchandising, and working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or guest service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and moving products from stock room to selling floor, ensuring presentation and alphabetization.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention, including awareness of scams and safety practices.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.
