GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak selling days, focusing on sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities.

The role requires greeting guests, assisting with video game needs, stocking shelves, and ensuring a clean, organized shopping environment. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video game needs, and applying selling behaviors during every transaction.
• Support the overall shopping environment, visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and transferring products from stock room to selling floor, ensuring presentation and alphabetization.
• Help the team meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, escalating issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, and adhere to safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
