Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak periods. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional guest service, assisting with gaming products, and contributing to overall store operations and merchandising.

Ideal candidates will be 18 or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), and possess prior retail or guest service experience (preferred). Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with gaming needs, and suggesting additional items during every transaction.
• Support store sales initiatives and maintain visual and operational standards during the holiday season.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines, including restrooms.
• Stock and restock merchandise, transfer products from stock room to sales floor, and ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized.
• Assist in meeting sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and stay aware of scams.
• Adhere to company policies and confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
