Job summary
QPS Employment Group is hiring Installation Technicians for a four-week fleet vehicle installation project. The work runs from November 9, 2026 through December 1, 2026 and travels between Schertz, San Antonio, Van Ormy, and Round Rock.
Projects are outdoors in fleet parking lots and staging areas. Responsibilities include vehicle prep, disassembly of interiors, mounting hardware, wiring harness routing, tool usage, testing, documentation, and QC checks.
Qualifications
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to work outdoors for the duration of the shift.
- Reliable transportation to project locations and ability to travel between sites.
- Team player with good communication.
Responsibilities
- Preparing vehicles for installation.
- Removing interior shelving, trim panels, and components.
- Installing mounting brackets and hardware.
- Routing and connecting wiring harnesses.
- Using hand tools and power tools.
- Performing basic drilling and assembly work.
- Testing installed equipment to verify proper operation.
- Reassembling vehicle interiors.
- Completing installation documentation through a digital system.
- Performing quality control checks.
- Keeping work areas clean and organized.
