Fleet Shift Supervisor – 3rd Shift

Location: San Antonio, TX

Position Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Annual Salary: $62,500 – $82,200

Job Summary

Supervises and provides direct leadership for technicians, manages workflow and assigns tasks, ensuring efficient maintenance operations during the third shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.
• Coordinate and supervise all maintenance work and repairs, monitoring progress and quality.
• Review driver repairs and other maintenance requests, preparing work order documents.
• Perform mechanical duties as needed.
• Monitor inventory of replacement parts and restock as required.
• Coach, train, evaluate employee performance and conduct disciplinary actions; provide input into termination, compensation and promotion decisions.
• Interpret and ensure consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
• Create and submit reports as necessary.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

• Exposure to physical occupational risks (cuts, burns, toxic chemicals) rarely.
• Exposure to physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes occasionally.
• Work environment combines office and plant/field; routine use of standard office equipment.
