Job summary

Acetech Group Corporation is seeking a remote United States-based IBM Mainframe specialist with six-plus years of experience to support long-term COBOL development and batch processing on DB2. You will leverage JCL, COBOL, and mainframe skills to deliver reliable, documented solutions and communicate status and dependencies to the project team.

The engagement is designed as a long-term contract (six to twelve months or longer) that can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of IBM Mainframe experience is required.
• Strong COBOL development experience.
• JCL experience creating, modifying, and supporting batch-processing jobs.
• Experience working with DB2 databases in a mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily responsibilities include performing assigned Hogan IDS development work, leveraging COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IBM mainframe expertise, communicating status and project dependencies, resolving technical issues, and following established customer development, testing, security, and documentation processes.
