Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a Hogan Application Developer with strong Core Banking domain knowledge and IBM Mainframe experience in New York. You will develop, enhance, and support Hogan banking applications across the full software lifecycle.

The role requires deep Hogan COBOL/JCL/CICS/DB2/VSAM skills, familiarity with Hogan modules, and proficiency with mainframe tools. This position pays hourly rates and offers medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

Hogan Core Banking development experience in Core Banking environments.
Strong hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM on IBM Mainframe (z/OS).
Experience with Hogan modules such as CIS, DDA, TDA, LNS, IDS/Umbrella, or PEM.
Good understanding of Core Banking functions including deposits, loans, account processing, fees, and transaction processing.
Experience with Mainframe development tools such as TSO/ISPF, Endevor/ChangeMan, File-AID, and SDSF.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in regulated banking environments and follow established change management processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance Hogan Core Banking applications.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Build and support solutions using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver banking enhancements.
Support application releases, change management, and technical documentation.
