Job summary

SMT is seeking a Hockey Help Desk Technician in Jacksonville, FL to provide game-day technical support for NHL events. The role requires working evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, with travel 2–3 weeks per year. You will monitor systems, troubleshoot hardware and software, and log issues to ensure seamless fan experiences.

You will join a team delivering real-time data and graphics for major leagues, collaborating across departments to keep all components functional during live games.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and Windows OS.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Basic hockey rules knowledge and ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide game day support for NHL games and monitor multiple systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues during live events.
• Log tickets and coordinate with SMT staff and clients.
