Job summary

PMI Connects is seeking a Community Association Manager to oversee multiple homeowner associations in the DFW area. You will attend board meetings, coordinate after-hours emergency responses, and manage vendor relationships to keep properties well maintained.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive approach, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed. This is a full-time position with opportunity for advancement in a growing company.

Qualifications

  • CMCA Certification is required.
  • 2+ years of experience managing community associations.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of Texas Property Code and governing docs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with community management software is a plus.
  • CINC, AppFolio, and Rentvine experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day operations of either an on-site or portfolio of communities to ensure excellent service.
  • Solicit bids, provide comparisons, and monitor maintenance programs with vendors.
  • Act as liaison for resolutions, using sound business judgment to resolve issues and conflicts.
  • Manage account information with confidentiality, communicate professionally both orally and in writing.
  • Develop and monitor property budgets to support Board and Association financial expectations.
  • Coordinate, negotiate and issue vendor contracts per management agreement.
  • Prepare monthly board package with management report, proposals and financials.
  • Prepare for and conduct association meetings.
  • Daily use of company software (CINC), Rentvine, AppFolio, Word and Excel for communication and follow-through.
  • Nights and weekend work may be required to support community needs.

PMI Connects is seeking a Community Association Manager to join our growing team. The Community Association Manager will manage multiple homeowner associations according to the CC&R’s and Bylaws governing each association. This position will require attendance to occasional evening or weekend board meetings and will be responsible for coordinating after‑hours emergency response activities for your communities.

Community Association Management requires a diverse skillset and strong people skills. You will be managing on behalf of boards of directors for a portfolio of homeowners and / or condominium associations. To be successful at this role, you must be highly organized, flexible, have strong verbal and written communication skills, possess a proactive approach to dealing with problems, and have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor under stressful conditions. Candidates should be comfortable with board mentoring, vendor management, coordination of support services, financial management and budgeting, have strong computer skills, and be the kind of person that is naturally good at resolving conflict.

This is a Full-Time position in the DFW Metroplex (proximity to the Mid-Cities / Grapevine areas are preferred, but not required).

Responsibilities
  • Run the day-to-day operations of all aspects of either an on‑site or portfolio of communities to ensure excellent service.
  • Prepare and solicit bids, provide comparisons, and monitor all maintenance programs relating to the property and aesthetic appearance of the property, building strong relationships with vendors.
  • Act as a liaison for all resolutions of the property, utilizing sound business judgment to resolve issues and conflicts.
  • Manage individual account information with the utmost confidentiality, communicating professionally both oral and written information effectively.
  • Develop and monitor property budgets on a timely basis in a manner that supports the financial expectations of the Board and Association.
  • Coordinate, negotiate and issue vendor contracts for property services in accordance with the management agreement.
  • Prepare a monthly board package to the Board of Directors consisting of a management report outlining actions required, proposals, correspondence and financial reporting.
  • Preparing for and conducting association meetings.
  • Daily use of company software (CINC), Rentvine, AppFolio, Word and Excel documents for communication, organization and detailed follow-through.
  • Nights and Weekend work may be required to support community needs or to respond to emergency services.
Qualifications
  • CMCA Certification Required.
  • Additional Certifications are a plus, but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience managing community associations.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledgeable with Texas Property Code and be proficient with understanding and executing the requirements of the governing documents of an association.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience with community management software is a plus.
  • CINC, AppFolio, and/or Rentvine experience is highly desired.
