AppleOne Employment Services in Tampa, FL is seeking an attorney with HOA litigation experience to join its community association practice. This direct hire, full-time, in-person role offers meaningful client interaction, hands-on responsibility, and mentorship from experienced attorneys in a collaborative team environment.

You will represent homeowners and condominium associations, advise boards on governance and contracts, and manage pleadings, discovery, and hearings while building trusted

Qualifications

• Handle HOA/community association litigation matters from initial pleadings through resolution.
• Advise association clients on governance, enforcement, contracts, assessments, and dispute-related matters.
• Manage client communications, legal strategy, deadlines, and case preparation.
• Support client relationship development through responsive service and practical legal guidance.
• Licensed attorney in good standing, with eligibility to practice law in Florida.
• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably including litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, discovery, motion practice, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Ability to review and interpret governing documents, contracts, bylaws, declarations, rules, and regulations.
• Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with boards, property managers, and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Represent homeowners associations, condominium associations, and other community association clients in legal matters.
• Manage litigation tasks including pleadings, discovery, motions, hearings, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Advise association boards and property managers on governance, enforcement, assessments, contracts, disputes, and related issues.
• Review, interpret, and draft documents related to declarations, bylaws, rules, regulations, contracts, and association governance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with boards, property managers, community association managers, and industry professionals.
• Attend board meetings, community meetings, hearings, mediations, and industry events as needed.
