The ideal candidate is strategic, hands-on, with strong financial sense and a proven ability to build high-performing teams in a service-focused setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as General Manager in a high-rise HOA or Multifamily setting.
• Excellent communication and adaptability for stakeholder management.
• Proactive, hands-on leader capable of solo operation.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors and residential communities.
• Strong budgeting and interpretation of financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between the Board, homeowners, and WRMC.
• Lead day-to-day operations and deliver an elevated resident experience.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and expense management.
• Prepare and present the annual budget and provide financial insights to the Board.
• Conduct regular property inspections for quality and maintenance.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance.
• Lead bidding for third-party services and oversee special projects.
• Supervise on-site staff, fostering a collaborative professional culture.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies and laws.
• Oversee community meetings, annual elections and Board communications.
• Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed.

Job description

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Availability for on-call duty is required 24/7, including monthly night board meetings and working sessions.

LOCATION: Washington Park

SALARY: $90,000 per year

What You\'ll Do

• Prepare and present the annual budget and provide ongoing financial insights to the Board
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with quality and maintenance standards

• Supervise, mentor, and develop on-site staff, fostering a collaborative and professional culture
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed

• CMCA certification preferred
• At least 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-rise HOA community or Multifamily
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be open and adaptable
• We are looking for a highly proactive individual to take on this role, as it is a solo operation
• Experience in property management, community association management, or hospitality leadership
• Proven experience working with Boards of Directors and residential communities
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and interpreting financial statements
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of compliance, governance, and community operations best practices
• High school diploma required; bachelor\'s degree in business or related field preferred
