Job summary

Worth Ross Management Company (WRMC) invites a seasoned General Manager to lead a premier condominium community in Austin. You will drive operational excellence, manage financial performance, and partner with the Board to deliver superior resident experiences.

The role requires at least 3 years in a GM position within a high-rise HOA or multifamily setting, strong communication, and a proactive, solo-operational mindset. CMCA preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• CMCA certification preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-rise HOA community or Multifamily.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
• Solo operation; proactive and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Board of Directors, homeowners, and WRMC.
• Lead day-to-day operations to deliver elevated resident experiences.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
• Prepare and present annual budget to the Board; provide financial insights.
• Conduct property inspections to ensure quality and maintenance standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance.
• Lead bidding for third‑party services and oversee special projects.
• Supervise and develop on-site staff; foster professional culture.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, laws and regulations.
• Oversee community meetings, elections, and Board communications.
• Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed.

What You'll Do

What You Need to Succeed

• CMCA certification preferred
• At least 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high‑rise HOA community or Multifamily
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be open and adaptable
• We are looking for a highly proactive individual to take on this role, as it is a solo operation
• Experience in property management, community association management, or hospitality leadership
• Proven experience working with Boards of Directors and residential communities
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and interpreting financial statements
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Knowledge of compliance, governance, and community operations best practices
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
