Job summary

Associated Asset Management (AAM), LLC in Charleston, SC, seeks an HOA Community Manager to deliver exceptional service and governance across designated communities. You will apply deep knowledge of CC&Rs and management contracts to support Boards, residents, and vendors.

Responsibilities include reviewing governing documents, budgeting, vendor management, contract administration, and facilitating Board meetings while upholding high standards of customer service and compliance across communities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Association governing documents (CC&Rs, Bylaws, Rules)
• Experience with HOA governance and contracts administration
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Read and understand CC&Rs, Bylaws and Rules; ensure compliance with governing documents and statutes.
• Interact with homeowners, vendors and service providers to maintain high quality customer service.
• Prepare communications to owners via newsletters, emails and the web.
• Solicit, negotiate and execute contracts for vendors and services.
• Prepare bid specs and work orders; manage budgets and events with Board approval.
• Develop and implement policies as directed by the Board and AAM.
• Review monthly management/financial reports; work with accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare annual budgets and present to the Board; coordinate with vendors for data.
• Review, modify, code and approve Association invoices.
• Lead and facilitate Board meetings and other meetings as required.
• Hire/train employees and provide performance coaching.
• Exhibit proactive leadership for future growth; perform other duties.
