Role Description

The HOA Community Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Mesa, AZ. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple homeowner associations, including coordinating maintenance, managing common areas, and ensuring community rules and policies are consistently applied. The role involves attending board and committee meetings, preparing meeting agendas and reports, and implementing board decisions. The Community Manager serves as the primary contact for board members, homeowners, and vendors, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships. Daily tasks also include monitoring budgets, reviewing invoices, assisting with annual planning, and maintaining accurate records and documentation to support smooth community operations.

Qualifications
  • Experience in HOA or property/community management, including coordinating maintenance, overseeing vendors, and supporting board operations.
  • Strong skills in communication, conflict resolution, and customer service to interact effectively with homeowners, board members, and service providers.
  • Solid organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills to handle multiple communities, projects, and deadlines.
  • Basic financial acumen, including working with budgets, reviewing invoices, and understanding association financial reports.
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) and the ability to learn HOA management systems.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn HOA governing documents, local regulations, and best practices in community association management.
  • Ability to work on-site in Mesa, AZ, attend evening or occasional weekend meetings as needed, and travel locally between communities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; professional certifications (such as CMCA or other community association credentials) are a plus.
  • Prior experience in real estate, property management, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
