• Experience: Previous experience in HOA management
• Certifications: Not required however, Certifications such as Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) or Association Management Specialist (AMS), would be helpful.

An HOA property manager plays a crucial role in maintaining community standards and ensuring smooth operations.

• Leadership: Ability to lead projects and motivate community members and board members effectively and to lead on site projects.
• Team Player: Ability to work independently when required as well as cooperating as a team player.
• Communication: Essential for keeping the board and residents informed about ongoing issues and updates.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital for clear interactions with residents, vendors, and the board.
• HOA Knowledge: Familiarity with HOA regulations and management practices is vital.
• Contractor Experience: Skills in finding and managing reliable contractors.
• Technology Awareness: HOA Management Software, Google products such as Gmail, google sheets and google docs.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve conflicts or issues within the community.
