Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year’s relevant work experience with direct client contact.
• Or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 year’s relevant work experience with direct client contact.
• Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• CCTS (Certified Corporate Trust Specialist) certification if corporate trust focus.
• Experience with pertinent software applications, and the ability to rapidly learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client relationships and make recommendations regarding design and administration of institutional and/or corporate trust accounts.
• Assist senior account representatives in revenue-generating activities by providing appropriate recommendations and preparing documents for meetings.
• Maintain primary contact with the client and respond to inquiries to enhance the client experience.
• Coordinate with internal and external service partners to address issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain industry knowledge relevant to the business and communicate it internally and externally.
• Adhere to corporate policies and procedures related to the administrative role.
• Provide and maintain controls to minimize losses and support risk management.
• Mentor assigned team associates and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards and support the bank’s policies and controls.
• Promote the M&T Bank brand and participate in ongoing process improvements.
