Job summary

Buckeye Fire Equipment Co. is seeking a Machine Operator for our Automated Weld Lines at the Corporate Office in Kings Mountain, NC. This full-time role includes operating equipment via HMI, inspecting weld quality, and maintaining product logs to ensure consistency and quality.

The candidate should have basic HMI exposure, be mechanically inclined, and able to lift 50 pounds. Weekend overtime flexibility and cross-training across product lines are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Prior HMI experience is a plus; eagerness to learn HMI is required
• Mechanically inclined to understand equipment operation
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to rotate to different operations and work overtime on weekends

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment via HMI and adjust as needed
• Measure equipment to ensure product specs
• Visually inspect welds and cosmetic appearance
• Use hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments
• Process product logs for quality and consistency
• May perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
