Responsibilities

• Uses hand tools and basic shop tools to support essential functions.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facilities equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical).
• Troubleshoots and corrects equipment problems using documents, drawings and reference materials.
• Complies with safety, health and environmental policies; adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability and yield.
• Documents work performed including preventive and corrective maintenance issues.
• Assists higher-level technicians as directed.
• Reports to a supervisor and works under the direction of senior personnel.
