Job summary

Buckeye Fire Equipment Company in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Paint Line Technician to join our production team. You will hang parts to be coated, then inspect and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

This full-time role requires ability to lift 50 lb and to rotate between operations as needed. Weekend overtime may be required, and cross-training across multiple product lines is encouraged to support flexible scheduling.

Position Type: Full Time

We are seeking a Paint Line Technician to join our growing team!

Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus! Eligible employees can receive an additional $1 per hour, for every hour worked, in addition to their hourly wages for working their scheduled shift.

The Paint Line Technician is responsible for

• Hanging parts to be coated
• Once processed, remove parts for inspection
• Adhere to quality standards and production goals
• Maintain a clean workspace
• May be required to perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Ability to Lift 50 pounds above head on a consistent basis
• Flexibility to rotate to a different operation within the facility as needed
• Ability to work overtime on the weekend as business conditions indicate
• Willingness to cross train on numerous product lines
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to communicate with urgency to team leader / supervisor on any nonconforming issues as they arrive
