Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an HME Tech in Mesa, AZ to deliver, assemble, and instruct patients on home medical equipment. You will visit patients, respond to service calls, and ensure equipment is functioning safely. The role requires independent work, strong organization, and patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, performing routine maintenance, and participating in on‑call trouble shooting. Schedule is Monday–Friday 12 PM–8:30 PM with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for auto coverage.
• One year of experience in hospital, home care, HME, transportation or other healthcare setting.
• Excellent face-to-face customer service.
• Ability to meet physical demands and keep detailed equipment records.
• Ability to communicate effectively and prioritize daily work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and instruct patients and caregivers on safe use of home medical equipment.
• Visit patients for hands-on instruction and respond to service calls.
• Maintain records and participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and perform preventive maintenance per guidelines.
• Complete documentation for equipment pick-ups and deliveries.
