Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is hiring a Full-time Customer Service Representative for Home Medical Equipment (HME). You will handle referrals, collect patient and prescription information, verify insurance benefits, and enter orders into the Brightree system.

Responsibilities also include coordinating delivery and pickup, addressing customer inquiries, and supporting the referral sources and hospital staff with timely, accurate information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a customer service and/or office area preferred.
• Prefer background in home medical equipment or other medical/health field.

Responsibilities

• Process Home Medical Equipment (HME) referrals and collect patient and prescription information.
• Verify insurance benefits and ensure required documentation is obtained.
• Enter patient and order information into Brightree; communicate delivery/pickup arrangements and financial responsibility.
• Respond to HME customer inquiries and perform timely follow-up with referral sources.
