Heidelberg Materials is seeking a hands-on laborer to assist in producing and placing hot mix asphalt, using hand and power tools. You will load, shovel, and move materials, and work around heavy machinery in construction zones with safety as a priority.

The role requires reliability, a team mindset, and a willingness to learn equipment operations. Union benefits, vacation, sick leave, and holidays are provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
