Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is hiring in Philadelphia for an entry-level labor role in asphalt production. You will assist in the production and placement of hot mix asphalt using hand and power tools, load and move material, and operate safely around heavy machinery in construction zones.

Candidates should be reliable, safety-focused, able to follow instructions, and work well in a team. Pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check may be required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in the production and placement of hot mix asphalt using hand and power tools

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
