Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a laborer to assist in the production and placement of hot mix asphalt using hand and power tools. You will load, shovel, and move material, and work around heavy machinery in construction zones.

You will perform site cleanup, support teammates, and follow safety procedures in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. This role includes pre-employment checks and FMCSA testing where required; union benefits and paid time off are provided.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
