CRH is seeking an HMA Coordinator to support the Hot Mix Asphalt line, ensuring safe, efficient operations and strong customer service. The role requires coordination with sales, production and quality teams, maintaining scheduling calendars, and handling daily communications with customers.

A fast-paced environment demands multitasking, attention to detail, and solid MS Office skills. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred associate or bachelor's degree;

Position Overview

The HMA Coordinator provides general support to the Hot Mix Asphalt line of business and related stakeholders. The person will conduct the role in an effective, confidential, and efficient manner, while demonstrating the highest quality service possible.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for own personal safety at all times, as well as maintaining the highest standard of safety and quality in all aspects of the job. Be familiar with and follow the CRH Life Saving Rules.
• Collaborate with sales, production and quality in order to ensure superior customer service.
• Monitor scheduling calendars at all times.
• Answer phones in a pleasant tone and in a timely manner avoiding all missed calls.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required
• Regular and timely attendance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Coordinate directly with customers and maintain a productive and professional relationship.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily HMA paving operations and logistics for the highway paving crew.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams.
• Competency with computer and keyboard skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Excellent phone skills
• Must be detail oriented and thorough in all job responsibilities.
• Mobility to attend various meetings and events at offsite locations.
• Strong skill base in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) programs.
