Job summary

Parkwestmed in Baltimore, MD seeks an Associate Director of HIV Services (LCSW-C required) to lead Ryan White Program activities, supervise staff, and advance clinical quality. You will oversee CAREWare operations and coordinate care for HIV-positive clients.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced MS Office skills, and a commitment to serving vulnerable populations while driving policy updates and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work with an LCSW-C licensure and supervisor certification.
• Four years’ experience in a social service environment; one year in admin/supervisory role.
• Experience and sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, African Americans and vulnerable populations.
• Familiarity with Ryan White standards of care and clinical quality management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise licensed social workers and program staff.
• Master CAREWare operations and backup for EMR imports.
• Review client data and monitor Ryan White work plan progress.
• Maintain active patient lists and ensure follow-up by case managers.
• Monitor viral load suppression status in HIV patients.
• Audit electronic charts for eligibility, treatment plans, and referrals.
• Oversee policy updates, QA plans, and performance improvement reports.
• Participate in recruitment/hiring; provide backup psychotherapy when needed.
