Job summary

AVOL Prevention Services seeks a Prevention Care Coordinator for in-person work at Lexington locations. The role handles client intake, EMR duties (AthenaOne), and rapid testing, combining administrative tasks with direct client services in a welcoming setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-informed customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with computers and EMR systems; HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with AthenaOne/REDCap or other EMR/data management systems; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front office operations and client intake for AVOL prevention services.
• EMR management in AthenaOne including registration, appointments, and insurance verification.
• Provide HIV, STI, hepatitis C, syphilis, and pregnancy testing; prevention navigation.
• Data entry and quality assurance; REDCap data entry; grant reporting support.
• Inventory, outreach event prep, and collaboration with staff.
