U-Haul in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Hitch Service Technician to perform hands-on work on towing systems and to explain options to customers while ensuring safety and quality. You will install the best tow packages and maintain strong service standards on the lot.

The role emphasizes practical, technical skills, safety awareness, and reliable customer support, with opportunities for training through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
• Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
