Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Hitch Service Technician in Madison, WI. You’ll work in our Moving and Storage Centers, installing tow packages and assisting customers with hands-on mechanical tasks.

The role offers rapid training, paid interviews, and a $100 hiring bonus along with a $300 completion bonus through our certification program. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with benefits including health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Hands-on mechanical experience is helpful.
• Customer-focused and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Understand and explain U-Haul’s towing packages.
• Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
• Other duties as assigned; participate in U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
