Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Orients, embeds, and cuts tissue using microtome and cryostat.
  • Performs routine and special stains.
  • Labels and distributes slides to pathologists; files slides.
  • Performs and documents equipment maintenance and quality control.
  • Ensures compliance with safety and infection control standards.
  • Duties may change; management reserves right to add or modify duties.
