Job summary

The role requires an Associate's degree in Medical Lab Technology, Histology, or related field and at least 1 year of histotechnician experience.

Qualifications

• Technical histology competencies required for embedding, microtomy and staining procedures.
• Ability to process and prepare tissue sections for analysis.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Embed tissue specimens following SOPs.
• Perform microtomy to cut tissue sections for slides.
• Stain sections using H&E and other special stains.
• Prepare frozen sections for intraoperative consultation.
