Job summary
Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Histotechnician to prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination by the Pathologist. You will section, stain and mount slides, and assist with various examinations in a CLIA '88 compliant lab.

Qualifications
- Completion of a NAACLS-accredited Histotechnician program or an Associate degree including 12 hours of biology and chemistry.
- Or at least 60 semester hours with 12 biology and 12 chemistry and 1 year of histopathology experience.
- HT certification must be obtained within 1 year of eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Section, stain and mount tissue specimens for microscopic examination by a Pathologist.
- Perform quality control, quality assurance, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Duties may include clerical tasks and specimen collection as needed.
