• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university in medical laboratory science or related field (required).
• Certification as Histotechnologist/Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist by ASCP/AMT or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.

Responsibilities

• Maintains readiness of frozen section, grossing space, and autopsy rooms.
• Monitors quality and turnaround time of frozen sections.
• Train lab assistants, residents, and students as needed.
