NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital's Westchester campus in Bronxville hosts a fully automated histology lab offering evening shifts for motivated Histotechnologists. This part-time role supports a high-volume setting with strong clinical interaction and opportunities for growth.

You will perform accessioning, grossing, embedding, cutting, staining and labeling using state-of-the-art equipment, contributing to patient care in a leading academic medical center.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in Histology.
• Experience with special staining procedures.
• Associates Degree in Science and completion of an approved Histology accredited program; or Bachelor's Degree/equivalent experience.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Certified Histology Technician or Clinical Lab Technician from New York State Education Department

Location: Bronxville, New York

Shift: Evening (United States of America)

As one of the largest and busiest Anatomic Pathology labs in New York, we set the standard for our field, and provide our team with a high level of clinical interaction. Our fully-automated Histology lab enables expedited processing, including a large volume of diversified specimens. We are seeking a motivational grossing professional who is looking to take the next step in their career.

• Perform all routine procedures as a Histotechnologist to include accessioning of specimens, grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, cover slipping, labeling and distribution using state-of-the-art equipment.

This is a part-time position for the evening shift including weekends.

Location is our NYP Westchester campus (formerly Lawrence Hospital) in Bronxville; opposite the Metro North Station.

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year experience in Histology
• Experience with special staining procedures
• Associates Degree in Science and completion of an approved Histology accredited program; or Bachelor's Degree/equivalent experience
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Certified Histology Technician or Clinical Lab Technician from New York State Education Department

Salary Range: $51.60-$60.50/Hourly
