Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Science with approved Histology program or Bachelor's degree.
• New York State licensure as a CLT or Histology credential.
• 1+ year Histology experience preferred; experience with special staining.

Responsibilities

• Perform grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, cover slipping, labeling and distribution.
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment in a fully automated Histology lab.
• Contribute to a high-volume Anatomic Pathology workflow in New York, NY.

As one of the largest and busiest Anatomic Pathology labs in New York, we set the standard for our field, and provide our team with a high level of clinical interaction. Our fully-automated Histology lab enables expedited processing, including a large volume of diversified specimens.

We are seeking a motivated grossing professional who is looking to take the next step in their career. Perform all routine procedures as a Histotechnologist to include grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, cover slipping, labeling, special staining and distribution using state-of-the-art equipment.

This is a full-time evening shift position working Monday-Friday with a schedule of Monday-Thursday 3p-11p and Fridays 2p-10p.

Competitive sign-on bonus up to $10K :

• Experiential bonus commensurate with experience

Also offering specialty pay differential for Histology

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year experience in Histology


• Experience with special staining procedures

Required Criteria

• Associates Degree in Science and completion of an approved Histology accredited program OR a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)


• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department or certified as a Histology Technician, Clinical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist
