ProPath Services, LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Histology Technician to embed and prepare slides for H&E and special stains within a fast-paced laboratory environment. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot processes, and support the team across shifts.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of histology training/experience, strong reading and writing skills, and solid teamwork and communication abilities. Shift hours are 2:00 am–10:30 am, Tuesday–Saturday, with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of histology training or experience.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience operating general laboratory equipment.

Responsabilités

• Embed and prepare slides for routine H&E and special stain procedures.
• Performs and documents scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot processing, embedding, cutting, and staining as needed.
• Coordinate work for the team during the shift.
• Maintain scheduling for the day team.
• Train new employees and staff on procedures.
• Handle minor equipment troubleshooting and notify management or vendors.
• Maintain training records and competencies.
• Maintain communication between shifts, management, and pathologists.
• Work in a fast-paced lab with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance and quality control.
