Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Histology or related science with histology experience.
• Histology certification program with minimum 9 months duration.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Ability to work overtime or different shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Process tissue and body fluid specimens for microscopic examination.
• Prepare stains and reagents for histology procedures.
• Operate and maintain histology instruments and document maintenance and QC.
• Record equipment logs accurately and timely.
• Adhere to quality control policies and specimen handling procedures.
• Report test results to support patient care.
