Allied Search Partners is seeking a Histotechnician to perform histological procedures and prepare high-quality pathology slides for review by pathologists in South Westchester County, NY.

The role supports both Clinical Laboratory Scientist and Histotechnician tracks with responsibilities spanning pre-analytic to post-analytic testing, QA, and regulatory readiness. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current NYS license for CLT or histotechnician license is required.
• Degree in Medical Technology or related science preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to performance standards, policies and behaviors.
• Follows laboratory procedures and maintains test records.
• Maintains proficiency testing and quality control documentation.
• Ensures accuracy and quality of results across pre-analytic, analytic and post-analytic phases.
• Participates in regulatory readiness and ongoing education.
• Manages inventory and training records as required.
